“We saw Jake's picture in one of the local Collierville newspapers and went to meet him in person. We fell in love and knew he had to be ours. Jake had lived at the shelter for about a year. He was an amazing family member. He loved to run around in the backyard, go for long walks in the neighborhood, and just hang out around the house. We were blessed to have him for almost 10 years. We are so thankful that CAS didn't give up on finding him a home. We will never forget the joy he brought us.” 

     "Lucky was about a year and six months old and we got him back in August 2014. Lucky is a great family dog and loves everyone of all ages. He loves motorcycles both street and dirt bikes. Loves boats including Seadoos. He is quick to protect his family from man eating squirrels and hot air balloons. He is very smart and we received him trained both hand and voice commands. He was easy to train to ride on the cycles with me."

 “It was 5 years since our old dog passed and our boys wanted a dog. We saw a cutie posted on the CAS FB page and met him on a whim a few days before Christmas 2017. We met Brodie, a gentle stinky mess, and he was SO sweet! We renamed him Oakley - he's the BEST DOG EVER! The next year, we saw a photo of another CAS Shepherd Husky mix. Hazel was struggling at the shelter so a kind lady named Lee was fostering. We introduced the dogs at the CAS play area & they got along! We're so in love with them!”       

 “My daughter and I would go to the library on the square. Then walk through the shelter behind it. It was a barn with no air conditioning. We had a dog at home already and we were only looking. Well there was a little white puppy in a cage in the cats area. When we asked about him we were told he was found wandering. They were concerned he couldn’t take the heat. It was Thursday of the 4th of July weekend. So we agreed to foster him for the weekend. 18 years later. Best dog ever. Miss him.” (Deion)      

    "We adopted Cooper in 2005 and had him for 13+ years. We adopted Belle in 2017 and Graycee in 2019. CAS has always been very professional and we have loved all of our animals. We will definitely adopt again in the future."
