Safe Sitter Course

Safe Sitter Babysitting Essentials + CPR is the ultimate confidence builder for young teens in grades 6-8. It teaches essential life skills and safety behaviors including, how to handle situations that may occur, seek help when needed, how to care for different age children, how to entertain children, basic first aid, and more.

The course is instructor led and interactive with hands-on demonstrations and skills practice using dolls and medical manikins.

Upcoming classes:

  • Saturday, October 26, 2024 - Registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 21, 2024
  • Friday, January 3, 2025
  • Monday, February 17, 2025

All classes take place from 9am-3:45pm at the Linda Kerley Center. 

Fee is $135 and includes course books and CPR certification card, if earned. Students need to bring a lunch, drink, doll and blanket. Registration is now open online.

Camp Smile

Camp Smile is a unique experience designed to meet the needs of exceptional individuals, ages 6 and older, with mild to moderate physical, developmental, or learning disabilities. Campers participate in a variety of activities, such as, arts and crafts, music, games, outdoor activities, and field trips.
