The Uniform Patrol Division is responsible for 24-hour, 7 day a week patrol of the Town and is the largest single division within the Police Department. In addition to being a first responder to all criminal calls, the Patrol Division also addresses a myriad of calls that include complaints, information, enforcement of traffic ordinances and crime prevention. Included in the Uniform Patrol Division are specialized units such as the Traffic Unit, K-9 Unit, Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), Crime Scene Unit and the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT).
