As a part of our community and educational outreach, the Collierville Fire Department is pleased to offer tours of our firehouses, participate in various community sponsored activities and events and provide educational programs to your group or organization.

Would you like to take a guided tour of a firefighter's second home? The Collierville Fire Department has five (5) firehouses located throughout the Town and our firefighter/paramedics would be delighted to show you around free of charge as part of the department’s public education program.

Any community group or individual is welcome to arrange a guided tour of a local firehouse. During tours, children can see the firefighters' kitchen, TV/day room, and sleeping quarters. Visitors may also climb on the engines, the ladder truck, see the ambulances, and maybe even try on some firefighter gear!  In addition to viewing the firehouse, fire prevention and safety tips will also be discussed. Tours generally last 30-45 minutes.

Please schedule your tour two weeks in advance in order to avoid scheduling conflicts.

*Please note that we do not offer birthday parties at the fire stations; however, if you would like to schedule a tour immediately prior to your party at another location, we will do our best to accommodate. 

Please understand:

We hope your upcoming tour of a Collierville firehouse will be an educational and enjoyable experience for everyone in your group, but please be aware that firehouses are “working” firehouses. Therefore our day to day schedule can be unpredictable.  There is always the chance fire personnel may need to leave during the tour to respond to an emergency call. If this should occur your tour may be interrupted or end without notice. If necessary, we will be happy to reschedule your tour at a later date

If firefighters are not at the firehouse for a scheduled tour, please wait 15 minutes. If the personnel do not return in that time frame, please contact us to reschedule your tour. We will do our best to reschedule as soon as possible.
