Unused prescription drugs can pose a serious risk to our community. Too often, they end up in the wrong hands, leading to dangerous and sometimes tragic consequences.
That's why it was so encouraging to see thousands of people across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and safely turn in a record amount of prescription drugs.
To continue this important effort, the Collierville Police Department, in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is hosting a Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Walmart, 560 West Poplar.
Our officers will be on site under the blue CPD tent to assist with the collection. Bring your unwanted or expired medications for safe, anonymous disposal. Together, we can prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.
Note: No liquids, gels, or syringes accepted.
