The Library Board is organized for the purpose of ensuring at all times the highest quality of management and oversight of the Collierville Burch Library in accordance with the applicable law of the State of Tennessee.

The Collierville Burch Library Board meets once per quarter on the 4th Tuesday of the month in the Board Chambers at Town Hall located at 500 Poplar View Parkway. All meetings are open to the public.

Mission Statement of the Library 

The purpose of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library is to provide materials that will help enable individuals to acquire or adapt the skills and knowledge necessary for them to participate in self-government, enhance their humanity, and contribute to their exercise of free choice. The Library is committed to free and equitable access to basic library service that is thorough, impartial, and confidential. 

It is the Mission of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library Board and staff to provide access to information and services in order to meet the evolving educational, informational, recreational, and cultural needs of our patrons with courtesy, professionalism and competence. 

It is the responsibility of the Lucius E. and Elsie C. Burch, Jr. Library to strive toward satisfying the diverse needs and interests of the residents of the community through the selection, acquisition, organization and preservation of library materials within the limitations of space and budget.
