Sign Up For Email Notifications
To help you keep track of your automatic renewals and other items on your account, we encourage you to sign up for email notifications. You will get an email three days before your due date telling you which of your items have been renewed, their new due dates, and which items will need to be returned because they could not be automatically renewed. Email notifications are not required for automatic renewals.
You can also view a list of your checked out items and due dates in your online account.
The Collierville Burch Library has a return bin inside the library for returns during Library hours. The outdoor return bins on the west side of the building are available 24 hours a day.
Will I be charged overdue fines for items returned in the bins overnight or in the morning?
Items returned in the book drop at least one hour before the Library opens are checked in as if they had been returned on the Library's previous day of business. If anything is overdue, late fees will be added to your Library card.

About Overdue Notices
- Overdue notices are sent one week after an item is overdue. A second notice is sent two weeks after the item is overdue. A final notice is sent three weeks after the item is due.

- If you owe $25 or more in fines, you won't be able to use your Library card.
Receiving Email Notices
- If your email account filters out bulk or junk mail, it may delete Library notices before you see them. Be sure that the LibraryNotices@colliervilletn.gov address is listed as acceptable/safe in any spam blocking software that you use.
What Happens If I Didn't Receive a Notice?
When you signed up for a Library card, you agreed to be responsible for all items that are borrowed on that card, and to report any address, email or phone number changes immediately.
Reminders and late notices are sent out daily to our Library patrons. Although the notice delivery system is quite stable, the reminders are sent as a courtesy and the Collierville Burch Library cannot guarantee receipt of these notices. Our system sends notices in batches and emails from us may be marked as spam by your email provider.
Failure to receive a notice does not waive the borrower's responsibility to return materials on time and/or pay the associated fines. Thus, if you do not receive the Library's notices, you are still responsible for any overdue fines for lost or damaged items.
