Mission:
The mission of the Facilities Maintenance Division is to provide the citizens, customers and Town employees with clean, comfortable, safe and secure facilities through efficient stewardship, proactive building maintenance programs, and effective long range planning.
 
Vision:
The vision statement for the Facilities Maintenance Division is to continuously provide quality service in a cost effective manner that maintains a comfortable and safe work environment through an experienced, well trained and professional staff committed to innovative resource management, providing accurate data, and making knowledge-based decisions that will be recognized by Town employees, citizens and other organizations.
 
We are responsible for maintaining approximately 470,000 square feet of building and ancillary structures (pavilions and gazebos) that include the following:
  • Ancillary structures – 17
  • Fire buildings – 6
  • Parks buildings – 18
  • Police buildings – 3
  • Town buildings – 38
 
The Facilities Maintenance Division staff includes the following personnel:
  • 1 Facilities Maintenance Manager
  • 1 Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
  • 3 Facilities Maintenance Level II Technicians
  • 1 Facilities Maintenance Level I Technician
  • 3 Custodians

The division also manages numerous contracts for the preventative maintenance program(s), life safety systems, and custodial services.
